Allergan Aesthetics is looking for a Visual Designer (Brand) who will drive design for world’s leading aesthetics brands— Botox Cosmetic, Juvéderm, Coolsculpting and more. It’s an exciting time to join as not only will you be contributing to the success of these well-known brands, but you’ll be working with the teams building out our internal agency from the ground up. To build this right though, we need the best and brightest—and that’s why we want you!

Reporting into an Art Director, you’ll work alongside designers, copywriters, and content creators. In your role, you will be responsible for developing assets and campaigns that communicate our brands’ messaging. You are passionate about your craft, immersing yourself in typography, layout, and color theory. You hold a sophisticated understanding of design fundamentals. Bring a strategic point-of-view that enhances and drives the work. And most importantly, know that the consumer is at the heart of everything we do.

You Will

  • Contribute to visual design for the brand through ideation through and asset creation—video/animation, email, landing pages, social media assets, digital advertising, and unique activation ideas.
  • Steward the visual identity, typography, palette, photography, and principal design systems of the brand; evolving where necessary.
  • Work with project managers, copywriting partners and other creative contributors to ensure delivery of assets are on-brief and timely.
  • Design, QA, and deliver production-ready assets for all channels; aligning with creative automation system requirements as required.
  • Continuously bring curiosity that explore new design avenues that will improve the brand and how we interact with our consumers.
  • Partner with compliance and review teams to incorporate ongoing requirements and feedback, while ensuring creative work adheres to brand standards.


Required Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years experience at an agency or in-house environment; experience in beauty, retail, health, or CPG a plus.
  • Diverse portfolio that exhibits excellent use of typography, color, imagery, and graphic elements.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and graphic design tools.
  • Strong familiarity with front-end web technologies and ideally with front-end design styling.
  • Excellent typographic sensibility and nuanced eye for producing visually arresting concepts in all mediums.
  • Expertise of social platform requirements, asset preparation and how people engage to optimize assets and experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Excellent organization, presentation, and communication skills; especially working in a remote environment.
  • Working knowledge of front-end web technologies and ideally have some familiarity with front-end design styling.
  • Bonus, motion design skills and the ability to script against video content.
  • Bachelor of Design or equivalent.
