Allergan Aesthetics is looking for a Senior Video Editor to help lead the production team within our new in-house agency.  Working across the world’s leading aesthetic brands—Botox Cosmetic, Juvéderm, Coolsculpting and more—this is a “once-in-a-lifetime” opportunity to be part of our in-house agency’s success right from the beginning. Reporting to the Director of Production, you will lead a multidisciplinary group of editors, motion graphic artists, animators, and 3D artists. You’ll function as a member of the creative team helping craft compelling narratives that are shareable, memorable, and visually stunning. You’ll ensure assignments are properly delegated and delivered within deadline and budget. You have strong working knowledge of industry-standards, multimedia production technology, including software and hardware. You can work under tight deadlines, with strong follow-through abilities. You are proficient in digital photo & video cameras, current production systems, and competent working in shared network environments and structured file systems. But most importantly, you are the expert who ensures the consumer is at the heart of every piece of content produced.  

You Will

  • Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of editors, motion graphic artists, animators, and 3D artists.
  • Produce and iterate engaging assets that live up to our brand narrative and storytelling standards.
  • Get in the trenches with creative and brand partners to ideate campaigns and concepts.
  • Transform raw footage into delightful edits that bring the creative vision to life in a way that was better than imagined.
  • Evolve team to create killer assets for TVCs and other types of linear, OTT and CTV work; including mix and master audio, color correction, and grading.
  • Facilitate same-day turnarounds for real-time content reflecting cultural moments or brand updates.
  • Organize raw footage for the editing process and for content libraries.
  • Review scripts and advise on solutions for shooting approaches pre-production.
  • Work with content producers to set and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate enthusiastically with peers and all levels of management.
  • Partner with compliance and review teams to incorporate ongoing requirements and feedback, while ensuring creative work adheres to brand standards.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 8+ years video editing with an emphasis OLV and digital channels; experience in beauty, retail, health, or CPG a plus.
  • 4+ years managing people, specifically editors, motion graphics experts and animators.
  • Reel demonstrating strong design skills, storytelling, and technical experience across a range of media and formats.
  • Strong experience developing assets for paid media formats, particularly Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and emerging editing software or color correction software (Cinema 4D is a plus).
  • Basic to mid-level animation skills.
  • Excellent organization, presentation, and communication skills.
