Allergan Aesthetics is looking for inspirational Creative Directors to lead one of the world’s leading aesthetics brands—Juvéderm. You’ll be joining the team at an exciting time as you'll not only lead on brand creative, but actually help build our internal agency from the ground up. Reporting to the Executive Creative Director, you’ll be our champion for the brand’s visual and voice for in-house campaigns and with external agencies. You’ll work side-by-side with your marketing partners to develop creative strategies and lead creative direction from concept to execution. Be a confident collaborator with your fellow creative and production directors. Bring a digital-first perspective to storytelling across the channel ecosystem—video; paid and organic social; display; and more. Delight in data-driven creative but also be a passionate advocate for the “best” creative. Love inspiring and managing a multidisciplinary team. And above all, understand the consumer is at the heart of everything we do.

You Will

  • Lead a team of visual designers and copywriters to produce high-quality creative—from concept to execution—that elevates our brand messaging and perception.
  • Inspire creative excellence with rich, integrated campaigns and data-driven, targeted work.
  • Collaborate with brand and marketing leadership to translate brand principles and strategies into best-in-class creative; actionable campaign roadmaps; evolving brand bibles and campaign playbooks.
  • Ensure all agency-partner work lives up to our brand standards.
  • Drive brand awareness and sales during key marketing milestones.
  • Work closely with PMO and ops teams to evaluate capacity and bandwidth.
  • Partner with MLRC governance and review teams (medical legal review process) to incorporate ongoing requirements and feedback, while ensuring creative work adheres to brand standards.
  • Clearly communicate and evangelize the creative practice to stakeholders from cross-functional business partners to executive leadership.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 10+ years experience working in-house or agency-side with consumer-facing brands.
  • 5-years leading teams, including designers and copywriters.
  • Portfolio demonstrating dynamic brand storytelling across digital campaign layers: video, paid and organic social; display; print a plus.
  • Adept at inspiring excellent design and defining the brand voice.
  • Extensive experience in bridging brand strategy and campaign creative, leading through concepting, building and executing.
  • Managed, maintained and evolved brand standards and associated style guides.
  • Understanding on how to convert brand strategies into actionable creative objectives.
